Anywho - August is when we finally get some nice hot summer days up here in the Northwest. We went down to Higgins Point to cool off on a recent weekend morning.
Higgins Point is at the end of the Centennial Trail, the paved path that we use almost daily for biking, running or walking.
The water is cold and clear and we found a nice secluded spot to swim for a while before everyone else in town showed up.
It was a nice, quiet morning down at the lake!
